Design & Character

Award-winning Quintana Partners led the interior reimagination, preserving Vilalara’s iconic 1960s architecture while weaving in modern touches.

The design emphasizes earthy tones, natural textiles, terracotta floors, and handcrafted details, bringing the Algarve landscape indoors.

Bespoke furniture, artisanal lighting, and restored vintage pieces complement airy, curved lines and vaulted ceilings inspired by grottoes, Moorish architecture, and the hotel’s coastal surrounds.

Food & Drink

Vilalara’s five dining concepts offer distinct culinary narratives.

Coral Edén do Mar, led by Chef Diogo Pereira, celebrates Atlantic seafood and Portuguese classics with flair. Trattoria Pantaleone serves authentic Italian fare from Chef Ricardo Lucas.

Raízes Horta da Terra, helmed by Chef Telmo Da Costa Pires, showcases wood-fired, garden-to-table dishes with seasonal local produce. With banquet tables and buffet-style accompaniments, guests would be hard-pressed to find a more communal concept at any other five-star hotel…and likely wouldn’t have as much fun, thanks to Chef Telmo and his team.

A-Costa serves all-day Portuguese favorites, and the wine program features over 200 selections emphasizing organic and biodynamic bottles. Vento focuses on nutrient-rich, plant-forward creations in a breezy setting.
